If the scientists who made her find out, they’ll erase what remains of who she was.

“Rebel Heart” by Lizzy Ford

By (5.0 out of 5 stars) February 25, 2014
When I started reading, no lie I didn't expect to get 4 amazing stories. Literally thought it was just one very long book. Glad I was wrong. All had amazing characters that just sucked me up into the books and made me live and feel what the chartered felt. Love, hate, happiness, sadness, hope, despair and more. Amazing stores I think you should read.

I really did love this book. It is definately more sci-fi than her others, but it was a great read. I loved how the characters developed in the story! Another great book by Lizzy!

Great Value for great quality reading

These four books are incredibly well written. You will be transported to another world as you read. You will cry, scream, curse, love, hate, and pretty much go on a roller coaster ride of emotions with these stories. I won't go into details, because I hate spoilers, but I can tell you that you won't be disappointed. And 4 books for only $.99 is a total bargain! Lizzy Ford & Julia Crane are fabulous writers and if you've never read any of their work, this is a great introduction to their crazy worlds. 🙂 I love them both!

Fantastic books

You can't go wrong with this omnibus. It contains four books for the price of one and all four are masterfully written works.StarKissedAnother great read. I love all of Lizzy Ford's books, but sometimes it's very nice to have a stand alone novel to read....simply because then I don't have to be impatiently waiting to find out what happens next! However, I would say that StarKissed certainly has the potential to become more of a series; there are many untold tales and adventures that are in Akkadi and Mandy's future. The story is complete in and of itself though.I think this novel would make a wonderful movie too. It's got great character development, edge of your seat action, and a storyline that wants to make you swoon. The characters are all very believable and I love the futuristic environment. The emotional development of the characters, mainly Mandy and Akkadi, is very enthralling. There are times when one just wants to slap one or the other and yell at them to get over themselves.Overall, great read, and definitely recommend to all.Freak of NatureThe book description intrigued me from the beginning and it didn't disapoint. The relationship development between Kaitlyn and Lucas was intriguing; I'll look forward to knowing where the book goes next. The storyline is self-sufficient on it's own so that even if there's never a continuation to the story, it stands alone well.I enjoyed Kate's character progression from not understanding her purpose to coming to terms with who/what she is and what her purpose in life is.Kiera's MoonBeautiful story. I read the whole book within a day and stayed up past midnight just to finish it. I'm glad there's a second book coming out in the series because I want to know more about the worlds of Anshan and Qatwal. Kiera is a very believable character and you root for her and her desire for independence. She doesn't want to conform to the rules around her and just accept her fate as it is, instead she makes her own fate and adapts her world around her. BUT, she isn't overly stubborn either that she doesn't understand that some rules are there to protect her.I wish the book was longer and the characters were developped more, but at the same time, it's perfect just the way it is. Can't wait for Kiera's Sun!Rebel HeartWhen the book first started, I wasn't sure if I'd actually like it. But, being a Lizzy Ford fan, I pushed through and continued. I'm glad I did! The story picked up more speed and became more captivating as I got to know the characters.

4 awesome Sci-fi books in 1? Awesome!!
By (5.0 out of 5 stars) November 11, 2013
Wow! 4 great stories by 2 of my favorite authors all in 1 book!!Rebel Heart - One of my most favorite of books by Lizzy Ford. It's set in the future, but it seems very realistic (it's not hard to imagine the future of our world the way Lizzy Ford paints it.) Lana is high up on the military/leadership chain of command, okay, more like her boss is. When the sh*t starts to hit the fan so to speak, Lana's boss flees to safety and gives Lana a job. He wants her to basically be his eyes and ears. He puts her in contact with The Guardian (Brady) who he says will watch out for her. To see the interaction between the two characters when all they know of eachother is their voices, you know where the story is going to go. When they finally meet, while sparks to indeed fly, so do tempers and orders, and then the real journey begins. Lana is protecting something that can change the outcome of the war drastically, and Brady is trying to protect her from harm. Lana is determined to put herself directly in it's path. Can Brady protect his Angel? Can they prevent even more travesty?Kiera's Moon - my other favorite Lizzy Ford book. Kiera is abducted onto a spaceship belonging to the fiance/husband (who is an "alien") of her best friend. To say it was against her will is being a bit light. Her best friend thinks she knows what is best, but Kiera didn't even know aliens existed, much less agree to travel to some far off planet. While she is there she encounters a man and is talked in to giving up her armband, which in this world, is the equivelent of marrying. A'ran uses the mistake as his free pass to escape his enemy planet and takes Kiera with him. Alone in a strange world, Kiera starts to learn the customs and accidently begins planning war strategies! She sees what she assumes is a video space war game and starts playing, only to eventually discover that it's A'rans computerized battle planner. In a foreign world, can Kiera and A'ran deal with an unwanted marriage, win the fight for their planets surface, and save a dying planet?Sun Kissed - I can't even begin to describe this book. I mean, sure, it's Sci-fi and romance, but also mystery and humor and horror too. What would you do if you were flying in an airplane and suddenly you were in the future, many years later when Earth is no longer the Earth you know? It's disgustingly dirty and polluted, there is no water, and alien races are fighting for survival. Pureblood humans are practically extinct. Our heroine meets some super hott aliens on her journey to try to get back to her time, and I would really like to know more about some of them. She uncovers a sinister plot and has to pay the price for her outspoken personality. Hopefully they'll be a couple more in the series so we can delve deeper into the other characters lives. Okay, that probably didn't make a whole lot of sense since it was all scrambled, but the gist of the matter is - ANOTHER AWESOME BOOK BY LIZZY FORD, SO GO READ IT!!!Freak of Nature - I loved this book. I won a copy when it firt came out, but I only found time to read it this week. I wish I had made it a priority! The idea of a "cyborg", a human with computer parts is not that farfetched. I fully believe that is in our future. The idea of a robot that can feel is even more amazing! I was entranced by this book from the moment I started reading it. I felt sorry for Kate, for what she became, but proud of her at the same time. I rooted for her all the way, hoping things with Lucas would turn out okay. I really liked the fact that the author made it so Lucas could see past all of Kate's superficial flaws and still think she was beautiful. Gives us normal looking people some hope, that we don't have to be drop dead gorgeous to find an awesome guy! I can't wait for book 2!
